Wilderness Pack Trips
Each trip that is scheduled travels through a different part of the Bob Marshall, Scapegoat or Great Bear Wilderness Areas. Our trips criss-cross the Continental Divide, ensuring you the opportunity to see more of the wilderness beauty. You will learn about your horse, wilderness survival skills, and be spellbound by the many tales that Karen, Jack and the crew will tell around the camfire at night.

Your Experiences
You will ride mountain horses (no riding experience needed) through valleys, over high mountain passes, into meadows, and along rivers. We attempt to schedule a day or two to be near a good fishing river or lake on each trip. There will be opportunity to see elk, deer, bear, and other wildlife and birds. Flowers are abundant and with the change of elevation you will see spring to late summer flowers. You will experience the quietness of the wilderness and a peace that you can't find very many places.

We accept guests on a first-come, first-serve basis, so call now. Interest in wilderness pack trips is growing fast and many spaces are already taken. So to avoid disappointment, reserve your place now for a 1999 Summer Pack Trip. Should your vacation dates not fit into one of the trips we have scheduled, let us assist you in planning a special trip on the dates you can come. Schedule your Summer Pack Trip by sending 1/3 of the total trip fee to hold your reservation. Balance due 30 days prior to departure.

We offer unique adventure trips throughout the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. Trips are different each year as we show guests new country not often seen by the average traveler. Our guests travel "The Bob" on portions of 1200-plus miles of trails each year lead by knowledgeable personnel like the pioneers Lewis & Clark.
