Becky Kyle to Play Basketball for Western Montana College

Becky Kyle, a 5-9 forward/guard from Seeley Lake, has signed an NAIA/Frontier Conference letter of intent to play basketball for Western Montana College, according to head coach Kevin Engellant.

Kyle averaged 15 points, 10.2 rebounds and 5.3 steals this past season. She earned 2nd team All-Conference honors and was selected to play in the Treasure State Classic and the Five Valley All-Star Classic.

"Becky is a player who is not afraid of hard work," noted Engellant. "She is a very versatile player who plays just as hard in practice as she does in games. Becky is an aggressive player who goes after every loose ball and that style is proven by the ten plus rebounds she averaged a game."

In addition to basketball, Kyle also participated in volleyball, track and softball. From the classroom, she is a 3.3 student and was selected to the Honor Roll, the National Honor Society and received Academic All-State honors.

Kyle was coached by WMC graduate Les Gordon. She will graduate this spring from Seeley-Swan High School and plans to major in secondary education at Western. Becky is the daughter of Linda and Jim Kyle.
