Pyramid Mountain Lumber Graders, from left, Ken Vernarsky (Grader) and Tim Wood (Head Grader) both qualified for the Western Wood Products Association's (WWPA) High-Q Award for last year, 1998. The WWPA performs monthly inspections of grader's accuracy to insure that the standards set by the American Lumber Standards Committee, as established by the U.S. Department of Commerce, are maintained. The Award presented to the two Pyramid Lumber Graders is for maintaining consistently excellent grade lines on thier monthly grade inspection reports from the WWPA. G. Noland photo
