The Bitter Root Chapter of the Montana Society Daughters of the
American Revolution is pleased to announce that Sarah Wilkins
of Seeley-Swan High School was chosen the Chapter's award winner
for the DAR Good Citizen Award.
A tea was held on Saturday, February 20, 1999, in Missoula at the Public Library. Miss Wilkins was presented with a monetary award, a certificate and DAR Good Citizen pin.
Miss Wilkins was chosen by the Seeley-Swan faculty to receive this award in recognition of her scholastic achievement, dependability, service in her school and community, leadership and patriotism.
Miss Wilkins was chosen in a competition of outstanding students from 15 Western Montana high schools. She will now advance to the Montana State level competition.
