Jean LaCroix, a 29-year-old musher from Fairbanks, Alaska, won the 350-mile Race to the Sky, finishing at 7:33 p.m. Tuesday.
In second place was Bill Gallea, a Seeley Lake physician who was only 21 minutes behind LaCroix when they left the final checkpoint for a 55-mile run to the finish, but Gallea lost time on the last leg, finishing at 9:30 p.m.
Another Seeley Lake musher, Cindy Ogden, finished in fourth place. This was her third running of the Race to the Sky.
