Montana's own world renowned composer and song writer Rob Quist and the Great Northern Bank will perform at the Montana Pines Hideaway in Seeley Lake Sunday, Aug. 29, 1999 at 2 p.m.
Formerly the Wapiti Resort, Montana Pines Hideaway fronts on Seeley Lake where Quist and the Great Northern will perform an exclusive outdoor concert which may become an annual event.
Rob Quist and Great Northern have opened for Chris LeDoux, Martina McBride, Tim Ryan and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and has performed for the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Nevada, to mention a few.
Quist wrote, produced and performed on National coors Beer Ad Campaign and also the Inland Empire Chevy Ad campaign.
Quist and Great Northern Band members Brian Dumontier, Eston Way III, Randy Roberts, Dave Griffith and Walt Peckham have released six albums that have received international recognition.
"I have known Rob Quist for many years since the days of the Mission Mountain Band and Montana Band. He is one of the most talented songwriters, singers and musicians I have ever met. I have shared the stage with Rob and his band many times and have never seen Rob do a bad show," said Michael Martin Murphey, Warner Brothers recording artist.
