Salmon Prairie third grader Amy Jo Meyer was selected as her school's outstanding student at a recent awards ceremony. Rich Nelson and Dale Aldrich of the local American Legion presented Amy with a plaque, certificate, and pin. Amy was selected for this award for her attitude, academics and being a positive and helpful role model.

This is planned as an annual award to be presented by the American Legion. Awards at Salmon Prairie and Swan Valley were the first this year.
