Seeley Lake teenagers, Tim Adams and Christopher Mood, have been
selected to participate in the Montana Boys State program which
will be held June 8-14 at Western Montana College, Dillon.
Dale Aldrich, Swan Valley American Legion Post #63 Commander, recently explained that each year for over fifty years Boys State has given young men from Montana a personal experience in government.
Boys State is sponsored by the American Legion and gives high school juniors hands-on experience working in a mock-legislative session patterned after real-life government. Delegates for Boys State are chosen based on outstanding qualities of leadership, character, integrity and scholarship.
Parents of this year's delegates from Seeley Swan High School are Kathy and Mark Adams and Marion and Doug Mood of Seeley Lake.
