to take up weed management

The Swan Valley Ad Hoc Committee will host a citizen's meeting on Thursday, October 14, 1999 at the Condon Community Hall at 7:00 p.m. to learn how to design and fund an Integrated Weed Management Project in the Swan Valley. Speakers include Gerald Marks, Weed Specialist from the Missoula County Extension Office, and Alan Knudson, Trust Fund Project Specialist from the Missoula County Weed Office.

The spread of noxious weeds has the potential to displace native vegetation, diminish wildlife forage, increase soil erosion, and reduce the value of real estate. Help win the battle against weeds in the Swan Valley. Come to the meeting and be part of the solution.
