A talented team of young adults offering a Christian, youth-oriented
musical ministry in the Northwest U.S. and Canada will be in Seeley
Lake on Friday, October 8, 1999. The spirited Captive Free
band members commit to a year-long, full-time tour performing
in hundreds of churches as well as schools, youth events, coffee
houses, nursing homes, camps and prisons. Incorporating contemporary
music, drama, puppets, personal sharing, and group building, team
members reach out to people of all ages. The program theme this
year, "Be Not Afraid!" is designed to offer something
for everyone!
Youth ministry specialists since 1965, Minneapolis-based Youth Encounter sponsors seven National Bands that travel in various regions of the U.S. and two to four International Teams traveling the U.S. and overseas each year. Youth Encounter is an evangelical, Christian organization that offers relational youth ministry resources including 51 junior and senior high youth conventions around the country.
Holy Cross Lutheran Church invites the general public to join Captive Free: Scott Budlong, Ben Cummings, Joel Harris, Sarah Nelson, Stephanie Nyberg, Matt Rothgeb, and Emily Twidell on Friday, October 8. Set your alarms for a family night concert beginning at 7:00 p.m. A free will offering will be taken.
