Sales approach $3,000
in Meals on Wheels benefit

The July 22nd benefit in Condon for the Meals on Wheels program was a tremendous success!

The Largest Yard Sale Ever Held in the Swan Valley had sales approaching $3,000.00.

The Korn pottery bowl, filled with delicious Montana Charlie's Lasagna along with the Hungry Bear's salad and the scrumptious deserts made by some of the ladies of the Condon area had sales in excess of $4,000.00.

Needless to say, the Board of Directors of the Swan Valley Senior Services is elated with these results.

Many people need to be thanked for their donations, help and support for this exceptional first time event.

It would be impossible for us to list each name, as there were so many we may miss someone. Please accept our sincere thanks to everyone in the Valley (and those from out of our area) for everything that was done and all of the purchases that were made.

It is quite obvious to us that there is support for our efforts, and we hope that we are able to provide the type of service to area seniors that we can all be proud of. If there is anything that we should be doing, or if you know of someone we are missing with the Meals on Wheels program, please feel free to contact any of the Board members.

Thanks again,
Don Erickson,
on behalf of all board members
