Andres Rose, left, and Michelle Noland will be performing
with the Five Valleys Honor Band at a concert at Frenchtown High
School Feb. 10 at 8 p.m. Andrew, who plays trumpet, and Michelle,
who plays drums and bells, were chosen for the band following
auditions by over 100 junior high students from area schools.
The band has been rehearsing weekly and will tour area schools
for performances following the concert. Funding has been provided
by the Plum Creek Foundation. Eckroth Music has donated folders
and music. Seeley music instructor and principal Tom Larson was
pleased when the two students he took to the auditions were selected.
Larson has been driving the two into Missoula for rehearsals.
