Organizing for Lewis & Clark

Last Thursday evening, a number of Lewis and Clark enthusiasts attended the 1st organizational meeting of the Blackfoot River Chapter of the National Lewis and Clark Trail Heritage Foundation based in Great Falls, Mt.

This new chapter welcomes anyone interested in the epic journey of Lewis and Clark. The chapter area will include Condon, Seeley Lake, Ovando, 4-Corners, Clearwater Junction and Sunset.

Meetings are planned every second thursday of the month.

Guest Speakers, entertainment, programs, discussions, and whatever related to Lewis and Clark will be on the agenda. Check the Seeley Lake Pathfinder for details. Meeting locations will be held at different locations.

Officers will be elected in the future. The next meeting of the Blackfoot River Chapter will be held Thursday, March 9 in Seeley Lake at 7:00 p.m. Location will yet be announced. The Travelers Rest Chapter from Lolo will present the Lewis and Clark Trunk Program at the meeting and a possible school presentation as well.
