Seeley Lake, Montana
The 21st Annual Snow Joke Half-Marathon will take place on February
26th at 11:00 a.m. in Seeley Lake. The 13.1 mile foot race, sponsored
by the Cheetah Herders Athletic Club, will begin at the Seeley
Lake Elementary School gym. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. on
race day and includes a $5.00 fee. Long sleeve t-shirts are $10.00
extra on a first-come, first-serve basis, and can be reserved
by calling 677-2661.
Last year all 136 entrants completed the event. Bob Boland of Great Falls was the overall winner in a time of 75 minutes, 33 seconds (course record 68:10). Bay Riley of Missoula was the first woman to complete the course, with a new course record of 85:25.
Race Management will furnish mile markers, medical stand-by and police patrol. Division winners will be inducted into the Royal Order of Cheetah Rangers. If the fastest man or woman breaks their respective course record, the registration fee to a future race will be awarded.
