Swan Valley basketball team has good year

What a year for the Swan I Warhawks. After finishing the season undefeated, we entered the district tournament with hopes of taking first place. After playing Potomac for the 3rd time, we did just that, with a score of 59-49.

Next came the Divisional at Seeley Lake. Our first game was against the Avon Elks. After a slow start our defense woke up in the 3rd quarter holding Avon to just 2 points. Final score was 45-27. Next came Potomac.

Once again after building a ten point lead we continued our winning ways defeating Potomac for the fourth time 64-51.

This year's Tournament All Stars were Briana Kessler, Rion Nash; first team. Jason Gamet was named to the second all tournament team.
