A pumpkin coach, Prince Charming, a glass slipper and a dream come true are woven together by the magic of a Fairy Godmother this Friday, February 18, when Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and over 50 local students present an original musical adaptation of Cinderella.
Cinderella will be played by Tabatha Patterson, and Jenny Trice and Breana Johnson will play her two stepsisters. Chance Hulett will play the King. Canyon Parcell and Andy Matthew will play the roles of Town Criers. Cleo the Cat will be played by Danielle Anderson, and Rincon Parcell will appear as Fido the Dog. Alex Blendermann, Sami Hulett, Derek Bergstrom, Devin Hines, Johnny Moors, Caitlin Stone, Jesse Kessler, Justin Thompson, Mariah Childs, Ashley Aldridge, Nikki Maloughney and Sarah Thomas play the Lords and Ladies. Featured throughout the production are Cody Hulett, Tyler Sager, Nathan Stone, Steven Bergstrom, Adam Contreras, Lenny Kobylenski, Isaac Smith, Natasha Tanner, Basia Kobylenski and Sierra Parcell as Beggars, led by Rags the Beggar, played by MCT Tour Actor/Director Dwayne Gillespie. The Fairy Godmother, Tour Actor/Director Tiffany Dawn Patrick enlists the help of the Mice: Hunter Kesinger, Trapper Kesinger, Cassie Moors, Catalina Parcell, Gwen Rosen, Jessie Sager, Brian Thompson, and Adam Gereg and the pumpkins Dillan Foster, Timmy Siloti, Callie Trice, Jacob Smith, Damion Bartell, Ashley Holmes, Lily Clarke, Jesse Stevenson, Bobby Russell, Cascade Parcell, Meghan Janssen, and Jonah Rosen to create the magic essential to this tale. Katrina Webb, Cody Daenzer and Matt Schnabl will serve as Assistant Directors throughout the week.
Cinderella will be presented at 7:00 p.m. at the Swan Valley School Gym. Tickets are $3.00 for adults and students (12 and up) and $1.00 for kids (under 12). Tickets will be available at the door.
