Members of the Quiltmakers of the Tamaracks are preparing for their annual Quilt Show and Sale. The show will be held on Saturday, July 15 at the Seeley Lake Community Hall. The show starts at 10:00 a.m. and there is no admission. The public is encouraged to attend. For more information, contact Jill Larson, show chairperson, 677-2055.

Over 40 women in the area are members and all are busy finishing quilts and quilted projects for public showing. A wide variety of quilt designs and techniques will be on display. Quilts made by kids will be shown in their own special category this year, as well as Art and Home Dec quilts.

In addition to the display quilts, quils will be offered for sale. The Boutique will sell an interesting array of quilt related items. Arlene Niethe will be demonstrating hand quilting throughout the show.

The centerpeice of the show is the Raffle Quilt, "Stars over Seeley Lake," a beautiful lodge type quilt featuring a scene typical of our valley. Tickets can be purchased at the Stage Station, Deer Country Quilts or at the Show. Only 200 tickets will be sold and cost $5.00. The winner will be drawn during the show. A basket full of beautiful fabric will also be raffled.
