Seeley Swan Pathfinder
Seeley Lake, Montana
The 4th of July is within sight this week. Only two more weeks
and Seeley Lake's annual celebration of freedom will be here.
The Seeley Lake Chamber is again sponsoring two events this year
on the 4th, the parade and the fireworks.
Although the Chamber is sponsoring these events, it takes the citizens of the community to make them successful. Without your entries in the parade, there wouldn't be anything to watch. The theme this year is Celebrate the Century, with an emphasis on volunteerism. The Grand Marshall will be on a float called "Celebrate a Century of Volunteerism," for without volunteers, our community would hardly run. So get your group, family, business, organization or yourself and join in the parade fun.
Our fireworks show will be held at the southern end of Seeley Lake at 10:30 p.m. This show is brought to you in part by the local businesses, but also takes the support of community people to make it a bigger and better show. By sponsoring a "firework shot" you are helping to sponsor the whole event on the 4th of July.
For further information contact Nancy Miller at the Chamber office, 677-2880, or slchamber@blackfoot.net; Cheri Thompson at 677-2454 or 677-2309 for fireworks; or Mary Ann Morin at 677-2594 for the parade.
