Music Director

Seeley-Swan High School students took six events to the State Music Festival this year. Of those, Lindsay Evens' clarinet solo with Pam Rose on piano, and Noah Madinger's tuba solo with Jill Larson on piano, received a Superior rating.

Noah Madinger's vocal solo with Gay Brewer at the piano, and Aubree Reinitz' vocal solo with Gay Brewer at the piano, received Excellent ratings.

Noah Madinger and Kelly Duntz' vocal duet with Gay Brewer at the piano, and Kristen Owens' flute solo with Chris Mood at the piano, received a Good rating.

The standards at the State Music Festival are raised much higher than at the District Music Festival, and so we are very proud of all our students who made it to State Music Festival and performed with distinction. Also, the piano partners of these students put in many hours of practice. We thank these people, without whom the solos and ensembles would not be possible - they are truly partners in every sense of the word.
