Tatum Hoehn, left, was selected to the tournament All Star Team. At right is the Eagle's eighth grade basketball coach Becky Gehrke who was honored with the Cliff Nelson Coaches Award at the tournament. Lisa Pena was named to the MAC Tournament All Star Team. The Eagles Girls' Basketball team finished second in the tournament.



The 8th grade girl's basketball team finished a school record high 2nd place in the annual Missoula Athletic Council Tournament in Missoula.

Eighteen area schools competed. The eagles defeated Hamilton, Lolo and Charlo.

They went into the Championship game against Missoula's Meadow Hill and played a fantastic game to bring home the 2nd place trophy.

Selected to the tournament All Star Team were Tatum Hoehn and Ashley Pena.

Becky Gehrke was honored with the Cliff Nelson Coaches Award for her commitment to the sport of girl's basketball. Congratulations to all team members on a tournament well done.

The girls went into the MAC Tournament undefeated in their regular season games. Congratulations girls on a great season!
