Swan Valley school board plans
timber removal from school property

At a regular meeting of the board of trustees of the Swan Valley School, District #33, Missoula County, Montana, held November 14, 2000, at 7:30 p.m. at the Swan Valley School, the following resolution was introduced:

WHEREAS, the trustees have determined that the timber on the northeast corner of school property to be undesirable because additional space is needed for the track program. It was reported that there was concern for student safety during track practices.

WHEREAS, the anticipated revenue collected from undesirable timber will be used toward smoothing the soil, pouring concrete throwing pads, installing safety fences, and planting grass. Any additional revenue will be placed in the building fund.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the board of trustees of School District #33, Missoula County, Montana, will meet at 7:30 p.m. at Swan Valley School on December 12, 2000, for the purpose of considering and adopting the undesirable school property resolution.
