Quilt Shop expands

Deer Country Quilts moved recently to the new Bison and Bear Trading Center in downtown Seeley Lake and more than doubled the retail and classroom space.

Deer Country Quilts features over 2000 bolts of fabricsincluding an expanded selection of flannels and winter-wear fleece, hundreds of books and patterns and other items for sewing and quilting. A full schedule of classes is offered for quilting and sewing enthusiasts. Deer Country Quilts is an authorized Bernina location.

Penny and Jack Copps are owners and employees include Marlene Bartlett, Ann Kimble, Jill Larson, Pam Rose and Vicki Scalise. The grand opening celebration is September 16 and 17.

Deer Country Quilts opened in 1996 with approximately 400 bolts of fabric. The store's mission is to provide the best customer service in the industry. From inception, the store has been a place to celebrate the talent of fabric craftsperson and artists.
