The Seeley Lake Water District has a new General Manager, Vince Chappell, as of September 2, 2000.

Vince comes from the Chinook, MT water plant, where he was the superintendent. He is fully qualified with seven years experience in water utilities. He received his Associate Degree in Water/Waste Water treatment at MSU Northern in Havre. He comes highly recommended by state agencies and brings a wealth of technical experience to the District. Although Vince has only been on the job a few days he has already corrected a considerable number of problems the District has been experiencing.

Vince and his wife Sharon have three children: Justin, age 12; Cassie, age 10; and Tami, age 4. They purchased a home on Double Arrow Ranch.

Vince enjoys camping, hunting, woodworking, and old auto restoration.

Sharon attended Fort Peck Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree in business office technology and a minor in computers. She took additional courses at MSU Northern. The past three and a half years she has worked as a home health caregiver and a secretary.

The Board of Directors is extremely pleased to have Vince come to the District as General Manager, and is looking forward to a great many positive changes in both maintenance and operation of the plant and distribution system and improved service to the customer.
