Ralph Cahoon Chosen for All Tournament Team

Ralph Cahoon, an eighth grader at Seeley Lake Elementary School, was recently chosen for the All Tournament Basketball Team for the Maverick Tournament in Missoula. The Tournament consists of 18 teams made up of seventh and eighth graders. The Seeley Lake Eagles have participated in the invitational tournament since 1990.

The Eagles went on to finish their regular season of play with a game in Lincoln on Friday, February 9th. They played an awesome game, winning by over 30 points. Lane Anderson and Ralph Cahoon each contributed 22 points with Matt Kyle contributing 15 points, James Kelly contributing 5, and Cody Bartlett contributing 3 points. The boys played their best game of the season and gave the crowd an exciting evening of basketball.

The fifth and sixth grade teams also did a great job and won their games, with a close game for the seventh grade closing the gap from 20 points to five.

Thanks to the coaches, Joe Bender and Dave Evans, and the Seeley Lake Eagles for a great season.
