Wow!!! Seeley Lake, Swan Valley, how to thank you!!! Your generosity in giving food to needy families in our area is incredible. In the face of many tough financial decisions, the possible mill closure and a poor summer due to the fires, you pulled together to give over 19,000 pounds of food during 2000!

We can't begin to name all the generous donors, so please accept this heartfelt public thank you! You know who you are...all of you from the Boy Scouts who help transporting, the people barely making it who still gave to help others, those richly blessed who share their bounty, and our faithful volunteers who are called at odd times to receive a shipment, run to Missoula for needed items, build shelves, weigh in food items, and work each Tuesday at the Food Bank.

New officers were elected for 2001 with Karen Montgomery as President, Mary Ann Morin as Vice President, Lynn Richards as Treasurer, and Bill Bogardus as Secretary.

On Tuesday, February 13th at 6:30 p.m. there will be a potluck appreciation banquet for our wonderful volunteers. Anyone interested in volunteering or just interested in saying thanks to our volunteers is welcome to come. More info on this later, so reserve the date. It will be a fun time, as it was last year!
