Community Quilting

Day this Saturday

January 11, 2001

Quilters of the Tamaracks and Deer Country Quilts are planning a community workday this Saturday. Finished quilts will be given to children and adults in the community in need of the comfort of a quilt. Volunteers are needed to sew, iron, cut, or quilt. Bring fabrics, unfinished projects you're willing to part with.

In September over 20 quilters and helpers gathered to make quilts for those who lost their homes in the fires of 2000. As a result, twenty-five quilts were delivered in Hamilton.

Our neighbors need our help. Call 677-2730 to volunteer.

The Workday begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan.13 at Deer Country Quilts.
