Thanks to the Montana Community Foundation and the talent of local art teacher Chris Anders, the Seeley-Swan YMCA Outreach had another successful Awesome Art program this past school year.. The kids worked on a variety of projects, including ceramics, plaster castings and drawings.

The first through fourth grade group completed ceramic slab boxes with lids, while the older group made ceramic coil pots. Other activities included Van Gogh sunflowers made from plaster wrap and geology drawings.

We are grateful to the Seeley Lake Elementary School for the use of the science room for our young artists. The Montana Community Foundation awarded a grant to fund this program so that a quality program could be offered at an affordable price. We look forward to future fun art progams for all ages.
