Seeley Lake Fourth of July Celebration
Parade at 2:00 p.m.
The Seeley Lake 4th of July parade starts at 2:00 p.m. It will begin at Morrell Creek Road and move south through downtown. Parade participants will turn at Redwood (Timberline Building Materials) and make their way to Seeley Lake Elementary to regroup, or they will disperse after they turn at Redwood.
Anyone can participate in this parade: businesses, clubs, organizations, families, individuals. The Chamber of Commerce prefers pre-registration, but you can also register the day-off at the line-up area. Parade line-up is at 1:00 p.m. at the old SOS parking lot off Morrell Creek Road.
The 2001 4th of July parade Grand Marshall is Mr. Ron Ogden. The Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce bestows this honor in appreciation of Mr. Ron Ogden's many years of service and dedication to our community.
The 3rd Annual Seeley Lake Duck Race sponsored by Chicken Coop for Youth Sports is at 4:00 p.m. on Wagon Wheel Drive. All proceeds go to girls' volleyball, boys' football and golf. Pick up tickets at the Chicken Coop if you would like to support youth sports and stop by the duck race to cheer on your favorite duck!
Air Jam Inflatable (jump houses) will set up in the field behind the Seeley Veterinary Service building. For a refreshing break, stop by Locke's lemonade in front of the Chamber building in the Bison & Bear Trading Center. If any group or organization or individual is planning an activity, let the Chamber know and we will include it in the schedule of events in next week's edition of the Pathfinder.
The fireworks show will be at 10:30 p.m. over the lake. Lindey's Prime Steak House is welcoming folks to view the show from the lawn. If you would like to help support the fireworks show, please buy a fireworks shot for $20 from the Seeley Lake Area Chamber of Commerce. The sponsors and honorees will be listed in next week's edition of the Pathfinder. Call the Chamber or stop by if you are interested. Deadline to be listed in the Pathfinder is Saturday, June 30.
For more information, a parade form or fireworks shot form, stop by the Chamber building between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., call 677-2880 or e-mail email@example.com. Let's all have a fun and very safe 4th of July holiday.
