The Grounded Eagle Foundation is offering a $500 scholarship this year. Eligible are seniors at Seeley-Swan High School and Bigfork High School, and those home-schooled living within the geographic boundaries of the Swan Valley.

The aim is to help local student-residents go to college. Eligible courses of study include: conservation biology, wildlife biology, conservation education, ornithology, veterinary medicine, wildlife medicine, and zoology, with a stated goal of wildlife conservation.

Both high schools have application forms, and they are also available by contacting Grounded Eagle at 754-2880.

Tax deductible contributions for this scholarship fund are always welcome.
