Several qualify
for Divisonal Track

Seeley-Swan advanced several athletes in both boys and girls District 5-B track to the Divisional this coming weekend at Missoula County Stadium.

Florence captured the District title in the girls' division while Frenchtown wrapped up the boy's title.

Beth Copenhaver and Shyanne Feucht earned the only first place finishes for Seeley-Swan athletes with Copenhaver winning the 400 in 61.60 and Feucht capturing the discus with a toss of 112-6.

Copenhaver also finished second in the 200 (27.4) and third in the 300 hurdles (50.1) to wrap up qualifying in three events.

Feucht qualified in two events when she added a third place finish in the shot put at 32-1.

Abbie Christianson was second in the javelin with a throw of 114-11.

Jessie Diamond was sixth in the high jump at 4-2.

For the boys, Abe Madinger qualified in two events, placing third in the pole vault at 11-6 and sixth in the favelin at 149-8.

Freshman Zach Nelson qualified with a sixth place in the 200 in 2:08.50.

Both boys' relay teams qualified in the 1,600 (fifth: 3:43.44) and the 400 (fifth: 47.37).

The top 5 relay teams and top six individuals advance to divisionals.
