Twenty five former Pyramid Mountain Lumber employees recently received certificates for $112.00 each at Wold's Valley Market. Lion Bruce Wold of Wold's Valley Market contributed an additional 20% to the proceeds of the auction sponsored by the Lolo Lions Club. This auction was held last December for the benefit of Pyramid employees expected to be laid off with the then anticipated closure of the mill. With the current restructuring, it was decided to assist employees previously laid off.

Many thanks to all the children who braved the brisk weather to participate in the Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt on April 14, 2001. The winners were: a large talking Pooh Bear to Gavin Richards in the 0-3 division; a $30 movie rental cetificate to Austin Kiner in the 4-7 division; and $30 cash to Ashley Wetherell in the 8-12 division. Thank you to the willing workers who had as much fun preparing the hunt as we hope the children participating did. Thanks to Kimberly Adams and friend, Lions Gary and Cheryl Lewis, Tim Downey, Jim Whalen, Ray and Barb Cebulski, Thom and Renae McAnally, Tom and Judy Lehman, Monty and Karen Montgomery, Emery Johnson, Neil Ruttenbur, Vicki Jardine, Randy Reinitz and Don Bissell.
