Seeley girls win golf meet,
boys finish in second place

Seeley girls took first place in the Seeley-Swan Invitational golf meet last week, while the Seeley boys finished second behind Superior.

The Blackhawks were 15 strokes behind the Superior whose Dan Hazlett shot a 78 to win medalist honors.

In the girls' tournament, senior Lara Parker and freshmen Haley Blackburn and Michelle Noland finished 2-3-4 in individual scoring with scores of 103, 105, and 106 respectively. Top scorer for the girls was Mandy Stevens of St. Regis at 100.

Ryan Plum and Tanner Marlatt each scored 81's leading the boys to second place. Bryan Gallea finished with an 87 to place in the top 10 scorers.

Boys' team scores: Superior 331, Seeley-Swan 346, Frenchtown 351, Missoula Loyola 365, Bigfork 393, Eureka 393, St. Regis 402, Troy 410, Seeley-Swan JV 424.

Girls' team scores: Seeley-Swan 438, Superior 543, St. Regis 472.
