Mike Taylor and Jeremy Hebnes, 1994 graduates of Seeley-Swan High School, were named to the 1998 Frontier Conference All-Conference Football team. Both were selected to the second team.

Taylor, a senior offensive tackle, was also the Bulldogs team captain. He anchored an offensive line that gave up only six sacks during the 1997 season. The Bulldog offense averaged 270 yards through the air and 100.8 on the ground. Taylor is the son of Roy and Beth Taylor and is a business major at Western.

Hebnes, a junior wide receiver, finished third in receiving for the Bulldogs. He finished the year with 42 catches for 350 yards and one touchdown. His 4.7 catches a game was sixth best in the Frontier Conference. He is the son of John and Fran Hebnes and is a secondary education major.

Western finished the season at 2-7 including a thrilling, season ending victory over defending league champion Montana Tech, 20-18.
