Seeley Lake emergency units responded Sunday when a Whitefish
woman was killed following a two-vehicle collision on Highway
200 near the Helmville Junction.
According to Missoula Highway Patrol Sgt. Mike Frellick, Cindy White Cameron, 38, was killed when a eastbound 1996 Ford Explorer from Los Angeles collided head-on with a westbound 1994 Ford Explorer driven by her husband, Charles.
Although under investigation, Frellick indicated the Los Angeles driver, Kim Collins, 38, lost control, possibly on spotted ice at the time.
Collins and her daughter, 11-year-old Kendel, were treated and released from St. Pat's, while another passenger, Danielle Bradley, 21, asleep in the back seat, was under observation for cuts and bruises when she was ejected from the vehicle.
Charles Cameron, 40, was hospitalized in satisfactory condition, but 22-month-old Daniel Cameron underwent surgery and was in critical condition Sunday night.
