Seeley Swan Pathfinder
July 2, 1998
The Seeley Lake Ranger District will be offering a host of interpretive
programs this summer. These informative and interactive programs are offered
on Tuesday through Saturday of each week. The USFS interpreter of guest
speakers will offer a wide array of topics for your interest.
Each Tuesday you can take a walk on the wild side to a different area around Seeley Lake, or maybe a canoe float or a mountain bike trip will be offered. Thursday night is the time for Fireside Chat; sit along the beach and enjoy the warmth of the fire or the moonlight while you get involved in tales of the great bear, or maybe ghost stories will be the highlight for the evening. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays offer the opportunity to get with some of the local talent, as they offer evening and day programs in their areas of specialty.
The following is a list of interpretive programs for the next week. Please check the campgrounds for more details information on specific programs or call the Seeley Lake Ranger Station at 677-2233 for more information. In the event of rain, many of the programs will be held at the Seeley Creek Trailhead shelter. For you comfort, it is suggested that you bring a lawn chair and insect repellent.
