Seeley Swan Pathfinder
June 4, 1998
Efforts are under way to represent Seeley Lake area businesses at snowmobile trade shows in the United States and Canada. It is hoped to increase the off season(s) and winter traffic to Seeley Lake.
The next meeting will be June 22 at 7:00 p.m. at the Wapiti Resort. Bill and Ramona Holt have attended many such trade shows and are willing to offer their experience and expertise.
This is meant to capitalize on our 250+ miles of unrestricted snowmobile trails. West Yellowstone,on the other hand, has only 130 miles of trails which are restricted by speed limits. Park riding is restricted to "on trail" riding only. Additionally, the Driftriders Snowmobile Club and Ron Ogden will provide support and are working toward offering a guided snowmobile service.
Seeley Lake has enormous potential to attract visitors from all parts of the world. Beautiful scenery combined with a relaxed and casual atmosphere with our fine accommodations and services can make all visitors feel "at home" in our little neck of the woods.
Booths would be set up with your business's brochures, pictures, and other pertinent literature. We plan to combine our efforts with the Seeley Lake and Missoula Chambers of Commerce. Needed are your ideas to promote Seeley Lake, volunteers to work the booths, and donations to help with expenses.
We look forward to promoting interest and business in Seeley Lake. Please contact Ron Ogden, Bill and Ramona Holt, or the Seeley Lake Fun center if you are interested but unable to attend the meeting.
