Representatives of Clearwater River Realty attended the National Association of Realtors annual convention and trade show held November 6-9 1998, in Anaheim California.
Wendy Wetherell - Broker/Owner, Michele Holmes & Twyla Johnson - Licensed Assistants of Clearwater River Realty, Inc., Seeley Lake, recently returned from four fun-filled and educational days, along with over 16,000 other Realtors from around the nation and internationally.
Activities included a trip to Disneyland, attending various educational seminars, and visits to the 100,000 sq. ft. trade show with 400 real estate related vendors. Wetherell also spent some time with her uncle, Les Gaskins - Director of Reservations for the convention department of the National Association of Realtors. His office is located in their main headquarters in Chicago and he has been responsible for hotel and transportation arrangements for the associations' three annual national meetings and conventions for over 20 years.
Wetherell, Holmes and Johnson returned with various tools and ideas to implement in their local real estate office to better serve Buyers and Sellers of real estate.
Key convention topics included computer hardware & software, the internet, email, Y2K, multi-media presentations, personal assistants, communication, advertising and marketing.
