Two former members of Peru's National Soccer Team, first cousins, Julio Palomino and Sandro Magno, spent the past week visiting Salmon Prairie and Swan Lake Schools, sharing their soccer, volleyball, and Spanish language talents with the students. Both cousins (towards left and right of photo) played three years of professional soccer (our equivalent of the N.F.L.) before coming to Montana. They were guests of Salmon Prairie School teacher Hazel Jones Kesterson. Julio and Sandro currently work with the Conrad Soccer team and are employed by Hazel's family's sheep, cattle and wheat ranch in Eastern Montana. |
